A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Process and Tools Engineer (PLM Data Migration) to join our team. This role will join the UniFi program tasked with the deployment of an integrated ERP and PLM (PALMA) system.The Senior Process and Tools Engineer (PLM Data Migration) role will implement key elements of the Data Migration Capability, to effect data migration from legacy PLM data sources to the production standalone PALMA, and production integrated PALMA and Oracle eBUS ERP systems.

YOUR ROLE

Working from our Sydney HQ, Sydney Olympic Park, on Wann-gal land, your role purpose will be: 

The identification and support of improvements to the Data Migration Capability to enhance the efficient operation of data migration within UniFi Work closely with the UniFi infrastructure team to ensure constant and efficient availability of the Data Migration Capability infrastructure (Dev/Test and Prod PALMA environments, staging databases, and local E2/SCM solutions used in data migration). Liaise with UK UniFi Data Migration experts to source knowledge and collaborate on shared knowledge supporting UniFi data migration in the UK and Australia. Develop and manage a software configuration environment holding local python, SQL, database schemas, and other resources supporting the operation of the Data Migration Capability. Provide technical support to the broader PLM solution, and UniFi program teams regarding PLM application operation and data migration. Report progress to the PLM Solution Lead, and escalate problems for resolution

YOUR EXPERIENCE

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

Experience in PLM support ​Experience in the development of software scripts to manage data Experience with the development, modification and management of data schemas. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and listening and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language Experience with Python and Oracle SQL scripts Experience with PTC Windchill and PALMA.
