Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electricians required to join our client, who are a pioneer in fresher pet nutrition. For 30 years they have championed a better way of caring for the health and wellbeing of our pets. Today, they have new cooking techniques that allow them to make food that is fresher, less processed, and even unprocessed and raw. The position requirements include but are not limited to:

  • General electrical maintenance & repairs
  • Capital project works and continuous improvement tasks
  • Mechanical fault finding, machine adjustments and basic fabrication tasks
  • Strictly following all required OH&S procedures

  
 To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following:

  • An A Grade Electrical Licence essential
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a meat processing or similar FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience with PLC’s (Allen Bradley), VSD’s, HMI’s, SCADA etc.
  • An understanding of GMP and 5S manufacturing principles
  • A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude is essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to details
  • Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required


Hours & Rates

Day shift: 6am-2pm
Afternoon shift: 2pm-10pm (15% shift loading applies)
Night shift: 10pm-6am (30% shift loading applies)
  
$55-$60 p/h (negotiable depending on experience) + shift loading + overtime + super + new tools & tool chest provided

  
You must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position.
A pre-employment medical will also be required.
