Deputy Director of Nursing

Latitude Recruitment is recruiting a highly efficient Deputy Director of Nursing on behalf of Rural Northwest Health. The Deputy Director of Nursing is a key senior leadership role, working with the Executive Manager of Clinical Services and executive team to lead and manage the strategic direction and operations of Clinical Services at Rural Northwest Health.

This is a Full-time position available at the Warracknabeal Campus.

Classification DDON ZE6 – NM6D

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Previous experience in a Senior Nurse Management role
• Post graduate qualifications in a health-related field
• Sound communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust within teams
• Knowledge and previous application of governance and risk management systems, such as Quality and Accreditation, Corporate/Clinical Governance policy development and Operational Risk Management
• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• COVID19 vaccination evidence
• Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Current and valid Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
• Current NDIS Check, or willingness to obtain one
