About the role

With the rapid growth of our Government & Administrative Law practice, we are seeking a Senior Associate level lawyer to join our team in Canberra. The team act on behalf of a range of Commonwealth Departments and Agencies, primarily in public law litigation. This hands-on role will see the focus of your practice being in disability insurance access and planning matters under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The team also do a range of Commonwealth employee compensation matters, so there is a great variety of work on offer. Our Government team is a national practice group, so whilst you will work closely with a small and collegiate team in Canberra, you will have the support of a wider network across each of our offices.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be an admitted lawyer with a minimum of 5 years’ PAE, and proven experience across NDIA and workers’ compensation matters. The work requires attention to detail, practical problem-solving skills, initiative, and strategic thinking. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, so we are looking for a lawyer who can provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
