The ICT Business Partner manages the relationship between DDTS and Directorates through a partnership model. The role is a central delivery point for digital/technology engagements and focusses on understanding the business needs. This roll seeks to strategically align business needs with ICT capabilities and opportunities.

The ICT Business Partner leads a multidisciplinary team that directly supports the Directorates ICT outcomes and their unique business application systems. This team may at time comprise of technical resources responsible in maintaining/building business systems, security officers, project/program managers, technical business analysist, and generalist resources to ensure effective service are provide from core ICT teams.

The ICT Business Partner leads strategic advice on the life cycle management for business application systems, associated interfaces, and other essential ICT services. The role is required to ensure wholistic alignment to the Directorate, DDTS and ACT Government initiatives. This requires liaising and negotiating with relevant stakeholders, including external vendors to ensure the optimal performance of business systems and its value in achieving business outcomes is achieved.

Notes: There are several permanent positions available immediately across multiple business units. A Merit Pool will be established from the selection process and will be used to fill any further vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will be in workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Travel between sites may be required.
