About the role
The IT Solution Architect will be a valued member of the IT leadership team who leads the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external, and internal customers. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
{It’s a key role in providing solution design expertise for all AWH’s information systems and digital assets to ensure that implementation of AWH’s digital vision, strategic plans, initiatives and individual business objectives are achieved and the business outcomes are delivered whilst maintaining the integrity of agreed architectures.
The ISA will establish the governance, framework, policy and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components, and co-ordinates design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency.
The ISA will ensure that the design solutions are appropriately documented and meets any legislative requirements and provides education, and information sharing, and ensures that appropriate corporate, industry, national and international standards are adhered to.
Within a business change program, the ISA manages the target design, policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the program.
For significant projects, this role will provide an opinion, relating to compliance or otherwise, to the IT Architectural Review Board chaired by the CIO. For all other projects this role will make day to day decisions in relation to the IT architectural approval of these project(s).
The ISA will provide advice to the CIO on the governance, strategy, systems and governance.
The ISA will also undertake the management and supervision of staff, vendors and contractors to meet the IT Enterprise Architectural standards on an as needs basis.
It is expected that the ISA will engage with other staff and provide advice as requested, and their level of work is appropriate to provide successful outcomes for the Architecture function.
