About the opportunity

As our Freight Handler / Forklift Driver, you’ll be based in one of our facilities, working with colleagues across our processing and deliveries teams to keep the cogs of our business turning. Safely operating a forklift and also sorting product on the floor, you’ll support with loading parcels/pallets for our delivery and transport drivers to head out on the road and deliver for Australia like never before. There will be a Truck Driving element to the role as well, this will be on a adhoc basis. If you enjoy variety, then this combination operations role is one for you. 

About you 

  • Hold a valid LF Forklift License 
  • Have Full Working Rights
  • Hold a valid MR Truck license - manual experience essential. Truck Driving will be on an adhoc basis
  • Be fit enough to lift/load and unload mail/parcel items of all different shapes and sizes frequently around our facilities and into trucks 
  • Be safety-focused, willing to undergo a vehicle assessment and pre-employment checks (medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks) 
  • You’re a self-starter that enjoys working in a busy operations environment 
  • You enjoy connecting with others in the community to support us to deliver on time, and like never before 
  • Be able to work the hours between 3pm - 7pm (Monday to Friday) - casual part time position

  • Offer an attractive hourly rate of $49.94 per hour (casual rate - $42.51 + 17.5% loading) + 12% superannuation contribution
