Hatch is looking to engage a Finance Analyst on a full-time permanent basis to assist with the preparation of management accounts, analysis and reporting for the Australia-Asia (AUA) region. This integral role sits within the Management Reporting team and will see you undertaking critical financial analysis to support decision-making, growth and performance.

With the opportunity to work closely with all areas of the business, you will be a self-starter with critical thinking and have the ability to work autonomously.

The role is based out of Hatch’s Australia Asia Head office – Brisbane city, in a well-appointed location close to public transport and handy amenities. 

Primary responsibilities of the role include: 

Provide monthly and ad hoc reporting, budget and trend variance analysis and commentary to management as required. 

Perform high-level and detailed analysis on financial performance and investigations. 

Project set up compliance with corporate policies and project commercial oversight. 

Actively involved in major project monthly reviews and assist with project tenders. 

Participate in the ongoing management of financial systems. 

Preparation of Joint Venture accounts. 

We’re seeking a great communicator with strong interpersonal skills, who enjoys learning and can think on their feet to logically work through problems and provide solutions.

You will also possess: 

Ability to apply relevant analytical tools and techniques to effectively analyse and interpret a wide range of organizational data to support decision making. 

High level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and databases/systems. 

Unlimited work rights in Australia. 

A bachelor’s degree in finance – with professional accounting membership (CA, CPA or similar)/working towards will be viewed favourable.
