Master of Professional Psychology Placement opportunity in LISMORE, NSW starting Mid 2024

Student will
- Participate in team functions, including daily review meetings, group supervision and informal debriefing.
- Conduct Intake assessments (initially observing, then with supervision, then alone). These are a psychosocial assessment and include a thorough assessment of suicide risk using our SafeSide model
- Write up intake and present these at daily review meeting
- Depending on the student, skillset and placement they may carry a small caseload of low-risk clients for counselling and interventions
- Participate in mandatory trainings offered to the team (ACT and Motivational interviewing) as well as weekly supervision.

- Completing 5th year in Masters of Professional Psychology
- Engage in critical reflective processes in learning
- Social, friendly with a positive attitude
- Compassionate nature
- Strong admin skills
You will have the following to qualify for this role
- Hold a working with children check
- Hold a police check
- Aged 18 years and over
- Australian Open Drivers Licence (or on Green P Plates)
