About our team and your role…

CCEP Packaging Services Division (PSD) is the internal supplier of plastic primary packaging to the CCEP Australia and Pacific Island businesses. We manufacture and supply over 2.7 billion preforms and closures to CCEP bottling sites located across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea, as well as external customers. The PSD team are integral to CCEP’s sustainability commitments, including its commitment of 7 out of 10 bottles made from recycled plastic.

This is a rare gem of an opportunity to join us in this role of Reliability and Maintenance Manager where you will be responsible for the reliability, maintenance and asset care of the PSD facility, which operates 24/7. The role is based at our bustling Eastern Creek site, with start/finish times flexible to suit the needs of the business and you.

 

What will you be doing?

- Embrace a safety first culture within the maintenance team
- Initiate and implement process and routines to continually improve the reliability and maintenance function on site, while complying with CCEP OHS and GMP policies and standards.
- Liaise with other functions to identify key issues affecting line performance and develop solutions and execute actions to rectify these.
- Manage the R&M financials for site; forecasting budget and controlling cost expenditure.
- Ensure maintenance activities are effectively and efficiently planned, managed and delivered to meet business requirements.
- Ensure maintenance Asset Care KPI’s are communicated to the maintenance team to clarify expectations and any non-conformance addressed in a timely manner.
- Support and coach teams to investigate, trouble shoot and problem solve issues

What are we looking for?

- An inclusive and compassionate leader who will foster positive team culture.
- Tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline or Trade Qualifications with the relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Tertiary Qualifications.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment including people leadership within a unionised environment.
- Regulatory and legal compliance knowledge and understanding the implications for the business.
- Experience in the application of Lean manufacturing principles with analytical ability and strategic problem solving skills (root cause analysis, FMECA, focused process improvements).
- Good interpersonal, coaching and stakeholder management abilities required to build the necessary relationships across the business.
