The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity exists for a 12-month fixed term Demand Analyst (MDI Demand Analyst) to join the PACCAR Parts Materials Team
Be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service support to dealers. Enhance and maintain dealer inventory performance and service levels by implementing exceptional inventory management strategies, retail forecasting and support activities. Assess, implement, and enhance inventory plans for assigned parts dealerships, ensuring ample dealer stock availability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planning system maintenance, forecasting and support activities Primary point of contact for dealers regarding MDI Conduct trouble shooting for any MDI issues Optimise PACCAR Parts sales by ensuring high dealer stock availability to prevent lost sales opportunities Manage inventory throughout the Australian dealer network Liaise with dealerships on a regular basis regarding stock ordering Coordinate training workshops for dealers to maximise MDI understanding and performance Provide monthly metric reporting to dealers and management Monitor and assess the effectiveness of current processes, driving continuous improvement Establish and improve direct ship order planning to improve stock availability
About You
Tertiary qualification in supply chain, logistics or business management or at least two years’ experience in materials planning/demand analysis Experience in inventory management/exposure to Dealer Business system (DBS) well regarded Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong knowledge of Material Planning processes and methodologies Comprehensive knowledge of forecasting and JDA Manugistics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High accuracy and attention to detail
