Production Supervisor

  • Permanent position
  • Fixed afternoon and night shift positions available
  • 17.5% annual leave loading

Australia Wide Personnel are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our client, who are a global packaging manufacturer for the food & beverage industry. The position requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Manage production staff, rosters, resourcing and annual leave arrangements
  • Providing reports on production KPI’s & OEE and contributing in toolbox meetings
  • New employee hiring & training, undertaking performance reviews, including disciplinary matters
  • Maintain a positive leadership style to nurture the existing continuous improvement culture
  • Strictly following all required safety and quality procedures

 
To be considered for this role you should possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering or Manufacturing stream advantageous
  • Proven leadership experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment is essential
  • Proven knowledge of GMP, lean manufacturing principles and a strong mechanical aptitude
  • A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude is essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to details
  • Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

 
Hours & Rates
 
Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, $108k - $115k (negotiable) + bonus scheme + super
Night Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am, $117k - 125k (negotiable) + bonus scheme + super
 
 
You must be either an Australian Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position. You must also be willing to pass a pre-employment medical check.
