Responsibilities:

• Assisting veterinarians in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the medicine department.
• Monitoring and caring for hospitalized patients, including administering medications and treatments.
• Performing diagnostic tests and procedures, such as blood draws, catheter placement, and radiography.
• Providing compassionate nursing care and support to patients and their owners.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a veterinary nurse.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and nursing principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
