The Opportunity

They have an opportunity for an Accounts Officer to join their team in a full time, permanent role.

Based in Altona and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for AP/AR workflows and any ad-hoc administrative assistance as required.

Liaising directly with stakeholders across the wider business and employees, you will be required to be a strong communicator with high attention to detail and a customer focused mindset.

You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team and have the opportunity to build strong relationships within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and responding to the AP/AR inbox
  • Supplier creating and management
  • Reconciliations of GL
  • Checking workflow to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Processing high-volumes of invoices
  • Assisting with financial reporting including End of Month procedures
  • Adhoc duties as required by stakeholders and team members

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in AP/AR
  • Advantageous if knowledgeable in XERO
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Intermediate skills across MS Office products
