The purpose of this role is to create data visualizations and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders Collecting and analysing data, identifying trends and patterns Generating insights and recommendations Developing data models and visualisations Collaborating with cross-functional teams Ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis. Assist in Defining and documenting business data models Assist with identification of cleaning and organizing data to ensure accuracy and integrity Analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations Assist with developing and implementing data models. Creating data visualizations and reports to communicate insights effectively Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and insights generation Providing recommendations and actionable insights based on data analysis. The key skills of the Data and Reporting Analyst include: Partner with business stakeholders to understand their information needs and translate them into effective BI solutions. Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure a consistent flow of accurate data for analysis. Design and build create visually appealing and informative data visualizations, dashboards and reports using Power BI and other data visualization tools. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends and patterns that inform business decisions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software such as MSSQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI. Familiarity with data warehousing and data modelling concepts. Experience with data extraction tools (ETL/ELT). Proven experience with Power BI –have worked with dataflows, semantic models and created complex dashboards. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and solve complex business problems using data-driven approaches. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborate with different departments, and translate business requirements into data analysis tasks. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, identify anomalies or errors, and maintain data integrity throughout the analysis process. Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements in data analysis techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
