Unique opportunity for an experienced Storeman to join a small and close-knit team where you will feel valued and part of something. Based in Dandenong South in a spacious and modern warehouse.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will assist the daily operation by picking and loading various steel products and supporting the warehouse as required. You will be highly regarded if you have a truck licence, so as to provide back-up for the full time drivers, or a willingness to acquire this licence with the company’s support.

Some details about the role…

Responsibilities & Duties:
•Operating overhead crane
•Operating forklift
• Picking and packing
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Assisting in goods inwards & outwards physically and using the computerised system
•General warehousing duties including housekeeping and stocktake assistance
• Ensuring a clean and safe working environment

Skills & Qualifications:
• Current forklift licence and experience
•Overhead crane operation experience
• Basic computer literacy
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Problem-solving skills

You will be highly regarded if you have:
• Experience working in a similar environment and industry
• MR / HR / HC truck licence
