A little bit about the role …
We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join Kathmandu as the WA Regional Manager. You will manage, oversee and drive business results within the WA Region consisting of 12 stores. The role will be responsible for ensuring retail sales and gross profits are maximised, through driving customer service and creating a engaged team culture in the region Day to day responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Lead, motivate and inspire your stores to consistently hit sales targets, operational and HR requirements Creating consistency across our stores, providing the highest level of service and Kathmandu core values The key focuses of this role are based around sales, profitability, store standards, stock control and your team (recruitment, retaining staff, training, and development and performance management) Models and promotes the desired Kathmandu culture and values within the team. Joyful, Courageous and Openness  Support and communicate with the wider Regional Manager team on national initiatives and day to day retail operations The role requires a hands on approach which would entail regular store visits and create action plans to ensure consistent alignment to all key policies & procedures. Championing the highest level of customer service across the retail business & promote a culture of customer first. Reporting into the the GM of Retail. Are you a driven self starter who appreciates being able to work autonomously? You will have proven management experience in a leadership role responsible for multi-site or region of retail stores. You will be experienced in leading and developing a large team, articulating and communicating to all levels of the company around direction and focus. The sales focus of the role means you will be confident with interpreting date/reports and adhering to budgets with the ability to use the information to drive your team’s sales and identify training needs. Retail operation procedural knowledge will have you hitting the ground running ensuring your reporting and administrative skills set you and your stores up for success.
