Overview
Working within the Community Nursing Team, you will provide high quality nursing care in community based settings such as client homes and in clinics within the Barossa region. As part of the multidisciplinary community team, you will comprehensively and holistically assess clients, plan and implement goal centered care and evaluate client progress. The role includes management of wounds, catheters and paediatric assessment. You will monitor client care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis, and oversee the provision of nursing care within the community nursing team. Enjoying autonomy of practice and a supportive team environment, you will be able to make a real difference and feel like an important part of the community. Being part of Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network means you will be supported both personally and professionally, can take advantage of education and training opportunities, will have access to flexible working hours and be part of an inter-professional approach to holistic health care.
Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
