The QCoal Northern Hub Coal Project, located 10km south of Collinsville in the Bowen Basin is currently searching for an Auto Electrician to join our busy Maintenance department. As our next Auto Electrician reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will not only perform general day to day service work, you will support the installation and maintenance of the machine guidance technology. This is a great opportunity to advance your knowledge & skills in this area.
In this role, you will:
Perform diagnostic, maintenance and repair work on a range of mobile plant equipment including Komatsu, CAT & Hitachi Maintain site GPS and communication systems Complete electrical installs on heavy mining equipment for GPS and communication systems Complete A/C system repairs and overhauls Ensure all activities are completed in a safe manner.
