About the role

Reporting to a very supportive, easy going station manager and joining a happy and close-knit team at Moray Downs Station, (280,000 acres of cattle breeding & back grounding) located 2 ½ hours from Charters Towers. You'll thrive getting to manage your own time and priorities, working safely to: 

Plan, prepare and cook wholesome and nutritious breakfasts and dinners (team of around 6 + visitors & contractors from time to time) Baking tasty, sweet & savoury smoko options Maintain a variety of lunch options for staff to cut & pack  Monitor stores and consumables Ensure high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food storage Maintain an easy-care homestead garden, including mowing, whipper snipping, spraying, pruning, watering and moving sprinklers
