Our client is pioneering innovative underwater drone technology, empowering autonomous, eco-friendly robotic operations, and they are looking for a talented Software Engineer (like you) to join the mission.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be essential in shaping their software infrastructure, data management, and security systems—critical components for enabling the next generation of autonomous, underwater robotics. 
This isn’t just a coding role; it’s an opportunity to build foundational technology with a positive environmental impact.
What your days will look like

  • Lead Security & Scalability Initiatives: Architect a secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and complete critical stages of the ongoing refactoring process.
  • Optimise Data Efficiency: Streamline data collection and processing from cutting-edge robotic operations to enhance system performance and data accuracy.
  • Building Remote Access Interfaces: Create intuitive, user-friendly ways to operate and monitor robotics from anywhere.
  • Growing Autonomy in Robotics: Drive innovation within a small, tight-knit team—your contributions will matter here.

This role is hands-on, highly impactful and an opportunity to collaborate with talented Mechatronics Engineers who are shaping the robotics side of the product. Every contribution you make will fuel innovation and sustainability.
What you’ll bring to the team

  • Skilled in C++ and Python, with experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker) and a familiarity in DevSecOps best practices.
  • Experience with large data management and observability systems.
  • Excellent communication, adaptability and initiative.
