Wireless Technicians

Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 2,800 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Wireless Technicians to join our Linkforce Communications Team.

THE ROLE

Based out of our Welshpool workshop, this role will see you installing, commissioning and integrating Wireless Telecommunications Mobiles Base Station and Transmission equipment throughout Perth, WA and Australia, this includes:

Working within Telstra, Optus, TPG and NBN Maintain, Install, commission, and integrate Wireless Telecommunication equipment including Radio Base Stations, Terminating Hybrid-flex Cables & Coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, combiner Install and maintain WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/ NBN technologies Testing, Commissioning and fault finding or wireless Telecommunications systems Installation, testing and commissioning of Microwave radio systems Completing all As-built and Hand-Over documents Implementing detailed Design / Construction Pack

ABOUT YOU

To be considered you will hold the following:

2 + years experience in Wireless Telecommunications industry A valid Australian Drivers Licence ACMA Licence - Open cabling ticket Current First Aid and CPR Certificates Construction White Card Strong computer and communication skills Understanding of quality control and continuous improvement Complete understanding of HSE practices, SWMS, JHA’s, MOP’s Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol screens

Desirable

Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and Downer Inductions Tower Rescue RF / EME Awareness Working at Heights Certificate III in Telecommunications, or higher
