The Opportunity: We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed employee to come on board with us at Laminex as a B-Double driver (MC), based out of our Tullamarine Distribution Centre in Melbourne's northern suburbs. This is a permanent full-time position, working standard dayshift hours from typically starting at 5am or 6am. This is a VERY 'cushy' MC position. You will drive from our DC to Ballarat and back daily, with only 5 stops for the day, no hooking or unhooking of trailers, all in the comfort of a 3 year old (Auto) Mercedes cabin.The full-time rate is above award + super + overtime (OT) as required. Primary Responsibilities: Delivering packs of laminate (up to 3.6m long) to customers and businesses to Melbourne and surrounds Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing customers and branches Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and load restraint Forklift driving - counter balance forklifts, mainly loading and unloading trucks with packs of laminate up to 3.6m long (if licensed) Manual labour, including lifting, packing, cleaning and walking around the site Completing warehouse related paperwork. About you: We are looking for a people focused and safety minded person who is ready to join a leading business in a pivotal role.You must have a keen attitude and willingness to learn new things along with the following skills and experience: Current Multi-Combination (MC) License - mandatory LF forklift licence is highly regarded, but not essential Must be able to work autonomously Strong customer service skills Physically fit as there is some manual lifting involved in this role Exceptional awareness of safety in the workplace What we can offer:Above award pay rate Flexible Parental Leave policy of 26 weeks at full pay or 52 weeks at half pay Monthly RDO’s On-Site training and training programs Christmas/New-Year shut down Fantastic Staff Benefits Excited about this role, but not sure if you meet % of the criteria?
