Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester with expertise in Selenium and a strong background in test automation to join our team in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership role, guide a team, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions. The role will focus on both web and mobile applications and will require close collaboration with development teams to ensure robust and efficient testing processes. Candidates must be Australian citizens eligible for Baseline Clearance to work on Federal Government projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium.
  • Perform mobile app testing across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior testers, guiding best practices in test automation.
  • Work with Sitecore CMS for testing content management workflows and integrations.
  • Implement and enhance BDD test automation frameworks to support behavior-driven development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Utilize defect tracking tools such as JIRA for reporting and managing issues throughout the testing lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing, with expertise in Selenium.
  • Exposure to mobile app testing (iOS/Android) and Sitecore CMS.
  • Ability to step into a lead role, mentoring and guiding teams.
  • Proven experience with BDD test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Must be an Australian citizen, eligible to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
