ABOUT THE ROLE

CareSouth is seeking to appoint a Team Leader to support therollout of a new Supported Independent Living (SIL) program basedin Nowra. Under the direction of the Manager, you will leadand coordinate the operational requirements of the team on aday-to-day basis, ensuring services and supports are provided inline with CareSouth’s Practice Framework.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL NEED

Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people and people with a disability. Tertiary qualifications in Social Work/Welfare, Social Sciences, Disability or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity within the OOHC, Disability Services or Community Services sector. Proven flexibility, adaptability and able to respond and adjust easily to change in work demands. High level written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of the ongoing effects of injuries, trauma and/or neglect and abuse. Proven effective interpersonal, conflict negotiation and resolution skills and to provide strong leadership under pressure. Current driver’s licence. Willing to undergo a National Police Check, obtain a (NSW) Working with Children Check Clearance, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
