We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Rigger to join our team. As an Offshore Rigger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently installing, inspecting, and maintaining rigging equipment for offshore oil and gas operations. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent teamwork skills. Successful candidates will have a thorough understanding of rigging practices and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

 Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-operational checks on rigging equipment and ensure it is in proper working condition
  • Assist in the assembly, installation, and disassembly of rigging equipment, ensuring it is properly secured and aligned
  • Inspect rigging equipment regularly to identify any signs of wear or damage, and report any issues to the relevant personnel
  • Safely operate cranes and other lifting equipment to transport and position heavy materials and equipment
  • Collaborate with the rigging team to establish safe work procedures and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Assist in the training of new rigging personnel on proper rigging techniques and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with other crew members and maintain clear and accurate written records of rigging activities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an offshore rigger
  • Valid offshore certificates and licenses, including BOSIET and HUET
  • Strong knowledge of rigging practices, procedures, and equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate cranes and lifting equipment
  • Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in all weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
