You’ll play a pivotal role in the end-to-end release management process, from planning and scheduling releases to managing risks, communication, and quality assurance.

What you’ll do 
  

  • Owning the release process and be accountable and responsible for the overall quality of the releases 

  • Release Change Management - making sure all changes are delivered into Production according to the change management process (CAB, PRAM, cross tribe coordination, technical guidance, socialization). 

  • Working with the tribes to ensure a consistent release process. 

  • Own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications/teams and all stakeholder including client. 

  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes. 

  • Participate in Change Control meetings for Change Request approval. 

  • Coordinating with all departments involved in the release process. 

  • Improve and grow the current release process. 

  • Championing and consistently demonstrating the behaviours and mindset that support Agile One Way of Working within ING. 

What we’re looking for 

  • Deep knowledge and understanding with our core technology, including J2EE, .NET, Azure DevOps, GIT Branching & Merging 

  • Experience with Agile and DevOps tooling – Azure DevOps is a must 

  • Familiarity with Test plans and CICD pipelines as well as familiarity with Test plans and CICD pipelines 

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills  

  • Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills  

  •  A self-motivated individual with ability to prioritise to achieve exceptional outcomes while with working with moving targets and be proficient in scheduling releases based on urgency/priority.
