About the role:

This permanent full-time position generally operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Your key duties will include:

  • Driving of salvage vehicles across the yard when required
  • Liaise with key operations personnel to ensure the accurate processing of customer vehicles including transport, rectification, book in procedure and inspection results
  • Removing decals from vehicles to ensure no damage to the paint or underlying surface
  • Assisting other team members across our operations teams when needed
  • Accurately book in all vehicles using hand-held computer or book in sheet. Physically opening all vehicle apertures will be required

Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and to be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment medical, which includes a fitness assessment and a drug and alcohol test.

About you:

  • Experiences working in the automotive industry and/or administration roles (desirable)
  • Willing to undergo background checks (Police and Work Rights) and a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol test) as part of the recruitment process. Please note: we also conduct random drug and alcohol tests onsite.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
