ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritise complex tasks.
Detailed procurement methodology and contracting experience with Government organisations including direct experience with procurement activities and designing contracts.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in organising and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to solve complex problems and to manage issues to support delivery of capability, including understanding of technical, operational and logistical requirements, in a contractual environment.
Ability to think outside the box.
Ability to analyse, develop and implement work plans to support delivery of outcomes.
An understanding of the Defence Procurement Policy Manual (DPPM), and related guidance.
An understanding/experience with ASDEFCON suite of tendering and contracting templates
Excellent written and communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team.
Demonstrated experiencing in managing complex stakeholder engagements and effective relationship building.
DESIRABLE:
Previous Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) or Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG) experience.
Relevant Acquisition/Procurement and Contract management qualifications and associated knowledge

COMPLIANCE:
Must hold or be eligible to hold Security Clearance to Negative Vetting level 1 (NV1).
