POSITION

We have a full-time position for a Farm Supervisor in Tolga QLD 4882.

SKILLS

You require at least a Certificate IV or higher qualification and at least 1-year relevant job experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role as the farm supervisors is to supervise the daily tasks of the business and assist the managers with the farm operations.

POSITION DUTIES

You will need to undertake the following tasks:

• Consultancy and planning with farm manager to meet the business objectives.
• Overseeing, supervising and delegating the work of farm hands.
• Training new staff as to required duties for their position.
• Monitoring staff hours, performance and reporting any staff grievances.
• Ensuring staff have the required tools and equipment for scheduled work.
• Checking tasks performed by farm hands is correct and completed.
• Ensuring deadlines are met for cultivation measures.
• Organising transportation of staff and produce on the farm.
• Organising and supervising transportation of farm produce.
• Overseeing that the waste materials are dispose correctly.
• Inspecting farming equipment, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out and repairs are made when necessary.
• Ensuring enough supplies to enable farm hands to complete their work.
• Ensuring that required standards of hygiene are observed.
• Ensuring and enforcing compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards.
• Ensuring farm biosecurity measures are maintained to stop possible infection and detection of Panama Tropical Race 4 (TR4).
• Additional duties may be required from time to time as required by the business.

SALARY

The salary offered will be $60,000 to $70,000 per annum based on your experience.
