About the Role:
 
Based on the Sunshine Coast, our client is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Pharmacist to join their medical team.
  
Reporting directly to the Head of Dispensary, the ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be highly accurate, and demonstrate proficiency in dispensing medicinal cannabis while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  
Experience and knowledge with medical cannabis is an advantage, however, our client is committed to providing training to the preferred applicant. This will be based on previous pharmacy experience, proven work ethic and a genuine passion for helping people.

Duties:

• Dispense medicinal cannabis and ensure accurate patient guidance
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain precise prescriptions
• Oversee dispensary operations and ensuring regulatory adherence
• Prioritise customer service and providing educational support

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or higher qualification)
• Current pharmacist license and state registration
• Minimum 1-2 years previous experience working as a qualified Pharmacist
• An understanding and knowledge of medicinal cannabis and its therapeutic applications is desirable
• Comfort in a dynamic and evolving work environment
• Commitment to patient care and well-being
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask
• Professional work ethic, high level communication skills and a strongability to work as part of a team
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
