About YOUR new job:

Reporting to the GM, the Financial Controller role will be responsible for developing effective financial reporting, enhancing data integrity, and optimizing transactional efficiency.
The position involves refining accounting processes, leading the Finance Team's support function, and requires a solid understanding of technical and financial reporting within the company.
•Management of the financial accounting; accounts receivable; and accounts payable staff
•Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to improve transactional efficiencies
•Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans
•Responsibility for all corporate, accounting, audit, and tax requirements for the business
•Review, identify and lead on the development and implementation of the strategic and operational changes necessary to facilitate the introduction and ongoing changes to the business ERP system to ensure that it evolves promptly to meet changing business needs.

About YOU
•A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Finance combined with 5 or more years of experience in financial accounting. Full membership of a professional body (CA, CPA, NIA).
•Strong knowledge of internal control procedures relating to finance, costing and budgetary control combined with advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
•Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply Australian Accounting Standards and applicable Australian taxation legislation.
•Demonstrated team management and team improvement capability.
•Experience with Microsoft Navision system.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate.
