Current Opportunity – Corporate Hospitality Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Corporate Hospitality Assistant. In this role, you would be responsible for the BDO’s in-house hospitality, and the day-to-day administration duties related to the hospitality function. Working Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless catering services for our clients and internal teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meeting rooms for events and meetings, including coordinating with external catering companies, pre-event organisation, and post-event cleanup
  • Ensure proper shutdown and storage of AV equipment and maintain professional presentation of meeting rooms for subsequent meetings
  • Manage all aspects of in-house catering, including ordering, inventory management, and processing catering invoices
  • Set-up the firms daily breakfast hub
  • Maintain and clean coffee machines, replenishing coffee supplies throughout the day
  • Ensure dishwashers on all levels are emptied and restacked throughout the day
  • Ordering and stock control of catering supplies
  • Coordinate with Confidential Waste Management contractor for collection of documents
  • Undertake general administration and archiving duties as needed, including covering ad-hoc Reception duties during breaks

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer services roles
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn and pick up new systems and processes
  • Excellent customer services and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • A positive approach and attitude
