As a Casual Revenue Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of the 807 - SALHN Regional Office unit within the 40 - Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate billing and revenue management, and contributing to the overall financial well-being of the organization.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Recovery and Receipting Ops, this role offers an exciting chance to be part of a dedicated team that prioritizes patient care and healthcare excellence. You will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals, learn from experienced mentors, and develop your expertise in a supportive and inclusive environment. Duties for the role will include:
Hospital Billing and private practice administration processes. Generation of invoices. Generation of claims from Medicare, Health Funds and other third parties. Processing of associated doctor and hospital disbursements and funds transfers.About you:
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues. Ability to collect and analyse information and to develop effective solutions based upon analysis.
