In this position, you will assist in maintaining the Department’s central and regional office budgets and monitoring the Department’s financial performance.

Ideally, you will possess excellent collaborative skills as you will be working closely with internal stakeholders to provide information and advice to assist them in managing their budgets, including supporting them to undertake costings and other budgetary tasks.

We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills as they will represent the Branch, as required, on committees and working parties. To succeed in this position, you will possess a strong focus on customer service delivery and the continuous improvement of services.

Your written application will be assessed against the following Selection Criteria:

Demonstrated knowledge of accounting standards, government policy and current direction as it relates to financial management and reporting.

Demonstrated skills and experience in budget management, financial reporting and financial modelling, including use of reporting and analysis tools to interrogate and analyse large volumes of data. Demonstrated sound analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to interpret data and resolve issues.
