Job Description
Data Transformation and Cleansing:
- Utilize advanced techniques to transform and cleanse raw data from Excel spreadsheets.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through rigorous validation and cleaning processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and refine data transformation workflows accordingly.
BI Dashboard Development:
- Develop interactive and visually appealing BI dashboards using tools such as Power Query and BI.
- Design intuitive dashboards that enable stakeholders to easily interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Customize dashboards to meet the specific needs of various departments and stakeholders within the organization.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of transformed data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
- Present analysis results and insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data analysis, transformation, and BI dashboard development.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and workflows for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with team members to implement improvements and drive continuous enhancement of data analytics capabilities.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, transformation, and BI dashboard development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
- Strong understanding of Power Query and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience working with large datasets and handling sensitive/confidential information is a plus.
