The Opportunity

We are looking for amazing food and beverage attendants who love what they do and bring a great energy to an already amazing team. Bring your exceptional hospitality skills and recent experience in cafe/bakery, barista, bartending or al-la-carte service to 'McKenzie's on 75' restaurant. You will be working up to 76 hours per fortnight on a 10/4 roster. Rate of pay is $28.32 per hour + superannuation of 11.5%. We will be required to relocate to our island staff accommodation to work, live and play in paradise For only $145 per week you will be provided accommodation, 3 x meals daily and Wi-Fi to stay to connected. Our ideal candidate is able to start work on Tuesday 23 July and commit for a minimum 6 months. 

Visa applicants: To be considered for this role you must have 6 months validity to work for us at time of your application. It is important to note that we do not qualify for 88 days remote work. 

K'gari Beach Resort

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous work experience in a similar role
  • Valid Queensland RSA
  • Wine and cocktail knowledge (desired)
  • Demonstrated barista experience (desired)
  • Valid Food Handling Certificate (or the ability to obtain)
