Join our expression of interest talent pool for Cooks and Stewards

We are looking for Cooks and Stewards to join our expression of interest talent pool to be considered for future vacancies with DOF. We offer a working environment consisting of highly educated, skilled, positive, innovative, and enthusiastic employees. Our vessels are renowned within our region for the vessel's comfort and facilities.

As a Cook with DOF, you will be creating and planning delicious and healthy food for our teams. Day to day, this includes but is not limited to meal planning, and meal preparation.

As a Steward with DOF, you will be managing the accommodation facilities onboard the vessels for our teams. Day to day, this includes but is not limited to cleaning cabins, laundry, and maintaining mess areas.

Requirements

  • Certificate of Safety Training (COST) Certificate of Competency.
  • Proven previous experience in a similar position.
  • Nationally recognised food hygiene certificate (for meal preparation and stores).
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Highly service minded, enthusiastic and solution oriented.
