KU St Ives Barra Bui Preschool, located in the beautiful suburb of St Ives, is a charming preschool with a strong focus on community and parent partnerships. We offer children the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of learning experiences and activities, each specifically designed to promote children’s confidence as capable, active participants in their own learning. The preschool has a friendly longstanding team and implements a playspace and circle of security approach within the service.

Commencing Term 1 2025 - Commencing Preschool Term 1 2025 and concluding on 22nd December 2025 this is a Monday 7.6 hour position. You would also have access to casual shifts on non-rostered days across our other nearby KU services if so desired.

Of course, you will need:

  • Relevant experience
  • An ACCEQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree,
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates and approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • Active NESA Teacher Accreditation,
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011),
