We’re looking for a proactive individual responsible for promptly addressing client enquiries, managing our tender portals and maintaining our tender response spreadsheet. You’ll ensure timely submission of tenders by coordinating with various stakeholders, collecting their contributions and following up to meet deadlines.

Additionally, you will refine document formatting, enhance content and polish submissions to ensure they meet our high standards. Attention to detail is essential as is the ability to engage in sideways leadership (ie collaborating with colleagues who may not report directly to you to achieve outstanding outcomes) for our tenders. OUR ROLE
Some key requirements include:

  • Be the driving force behind tender success: The central point of contact, spearhead the coordination and completion of tender requests
  • Write compelling and persuasive tender responses with technical input from subject matter experts across the business
  • Collaborate with in-house ECI Manager to create visual elements to enhance tender submissions
  • Support PMs & Project Leads with preparing schedules, maintenance manning tenders and budgets
  • Utilize document software: Format, edit and finalise tender submissions, ensuring consistency, accuracy and professionalism throughout
  • Maintain tender submission register including tracking success rates and submission losses
  • Maintain and develop a knowledge library from different business functions to assist in future tenders
  • Monitor an update tender management portals and CRM systems as required
  • Provide solutions and advice for preparation of front-end estimating documentation to ensure effective and efficient outcomes in the tendering process.

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:

  • A min. 5yrs experience in a similar role managing and maintaining tender portals. Contractor experience is essential.
  • A min. 2yrs experience working the mining, plant & infrastructure industry or a related field
  • Proven experience writing tenders/proposals and providing polished submissions to meet high quality standards
  • Prior experience refining document formatting and enhancing content for clarity and professionalism
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience with the use of related software tools developing high quality deliverables for proposals
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Able to work autonomously
