About the Opportunity
As Real Community Services continues to grow, so do the opportunities to work with us. We currently have multiple positions opening on the Sunshine Coast, to support our participants to ensure that they are meeting their goals.

We are looking for support workers who are reliable, warm, respectful and dedicated. We are looking for passionate support workers who can build a strong relationship with our participants, as well as have experience with Stoma Care, Continence Support, Multiple Sclerosis, Mental health and Medication Management.

Responsibilities
• Provide individual support and direct care to the participant
• Supporting the participant in the community
• Assisting with domestic duties to create a comfortable environment
• Providing personal care
• Medication assistance
• Assisting with meal preparation
• Manual handling
• Providing accurate and detailed incident reports, shift notes and shift handovers
• Maintaining client records

Required
• The ability to work independently and effectively
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Full Australian working rights
• Work experience or certificate in disability support work
• Current first aid and CPR or willing to obtain
• Blue card (working with children check) or willing to obtain before employment
• National Disability worker screening clearance (yellow card) or willing to obtain before employment
• Drivers Licence
• Smart phone with internet access
• Two current (within the last 2 years) professional references from a supervisor (essential)
