We are seeking an Assembly Labourer for a manufacturer of industrial purpose poles (supplying to electrical industries through to traffic, stadium lighting, security and more).  This is an opportunity to get your foot in the door with an Australian owned industry leader with over 26 years history.

Working Monday to Friday (7:00am – 3:20pm with an early finish at 1pm on Fridays to kick the weekend off), the role will start as casual but potentially lead into something more permanent in the future based on business needs.

Duties include:

• General labouring functions including the fabrication, assembly, packing and dispatch of products (this includes using basic hand tools such as sanders and grinders for fabrication)
• Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy
• Basic quality control (you will be trained in recognising basic faults)
• Stock counting and stock movement

To be considered for this opportunity, your resume should demonstrate:

• Previous labouring / assembly experience with two contactable work references
• Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance
• Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely
• Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks (training in safe work procedures will be provided)
• Appropriate work wear including steel cap boots, long pants yellow hi-vis long sleeved shirts
• Availability to commence asap

Based at Richlands, the casual hourly rate is $30.13 (plus superannuation) and on-site parking is provided.
