What is residential aged care? It’s like a warm hug. Our residential aged care homes are just that - a home for our residents. They provide a comforting and warm space filled with libraries, dining area, communal spaces, activity spaces, hairdressers, and of course, a bedroom and private bathroom for our residents.

We’re looking for Grade 2 Registered Nurses on Morning, Afternoon or Night Shifts.

As a Nurse in a residential home, a typical day will see you:

Providing excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medicationsMaintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies, and procedures and meeting accreditation standardsOverseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as requiredApplying sound decision-making skills to make effective use of all resourcesProviding employees with clear direction and guidance and actively promoting positive working relationships.

To join our excellent teams, we’re looking for more motivated Nurse’s with:

A current AHPRA registration and Registered Nurse qualificationThe ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholdersAn understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administrationA high level of accountability for your own workA friendly and positive attitude with the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour

To work in Residential Aged Care, you will need the ability to obtain an NDIS clearance, vaccinations (3x COVID & current flu) and provide proof of your qualifications. Don’t worry, we’ll only ask you for these when we need them.
