Job Description

Our Laboratory located in the town of Orange is currently looking for a reliable and energetic Fire Assayer to join the team.

Responsibilities will include however not limited to:

Understanding of the processes in Fire Assaying of samples for analysis for Gold. Digestion and instrumental analysis of samples “House keeping” within the fire assay area. Understanding the hazardous nature of lead (FLUX) and working in a safe manner to fulfil your duty of care to yourself and others.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in fire assay techniques Familiar and comfortable handling acids Exposure to MPAES or AAS instrumentation Previous laboratory experience in a similar environment preferred, but not essential Current drivers licence
