This role as Adviser Assistant you will play a key part in supporting advisers and ensuring smooth client interactions. As a representative of a quality-driven culture, you will assist in providing top-tier service and help maintain the integrity of client relationships. You will collaborate closely with other Assistants, Senior Assistants, Advisers, and Partners to effectively support the team and clients.
  

Key Responsibilities:
  
Adviser Support:

  • Assist advisers with various client-related tasks, including managing client accounts, paperwork, and administrative duties.
  • Maintain accurate client records, prepare client advice documents, and record file notes.
  • Track and ensure completion of action items from client meetings.
  • Handle incoming calls, manage client queries, and provide prompt responses to client needs.
  • Coordinate with external contacts (clients, accountants, lawyers) and manage the adviser’s schedule by booking client and internal meetings.

Operational Support:

  • Update and maintain essential regulatory documents, including Investor Certificates, Fee Disclosure Statements, and Renewal Notices.
  • Assist with fund transfers, investment applications, and redemptions through platforms like Netwealth and IRESS, ensuring training records are maintained.

Process Improvements:

  • Help develop and maintain internal guides and processes to streamline tasks and improve client service.
  • Manage your own workflows and prioritize recurring tasks, actively seeking opportunities to support the team.
  • Assist in achieving team goals related to revenue, client relationships, and overall success.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with trade platforms is desirable but not required.
