The Opportunity

Join Berry Street as a Project Manager within the Information Technology department, leading transformative projects in Document Management, Business Intelligence, and the implementation of the new IT Capability model. This role offers the chance to spearhead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and risk mitigation across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project objectives, scope, and roles in alignment with business needs, employing formal project management methodologies and tools.
  • Manage project resource allocation efficiently, ensuring optimal availability to meet project demands.
  • Develop detailed project plans, scheduling milestones and activities in accordance with project management methodologies.
  • Prepare and track project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.
  • Report on project status and performance, making timely decisions or escalating issues to resolve them constructively.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communications to ensure project satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support to overcome obstacles and challenges, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams with exceptional communication and engagement skills.

As the Project Manager, you bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in project management, with a preference for agile delivery.
  • Project Management qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge to support technical analysts and address project obstacles.
  • Exceptional communication and engagement skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • A track record of defining project objectives and managing resources efficiently.
  • Experience in developing and tracking project budgets to deliver projects on budget.
  • Proven ability to report on project status and performance, making informed decisions to resolve issues.
  • A commitment to stakeholder satisfaction, with the ability to manage relationships and communications effectively.
