Wagga Wagga, Australia Amart Furniture Full time
ABOUT THE ROLE

Leading a team of between 2 & 5 people, you will be charged with planning the workflow of incoming tasks, ensuring your team does whatever it takes to provide exceptional customer service in every interaction and fostering a fun team environment.

You’ll lead by example and challenge your team to grow in their skills by identifying areas for improvement and recognising them when they do well. Your team is responsible for a number of tasks, and this will include finalising purchases of products, assisting in applications for finance, organising product deliveries and any other request that may come your way. It’s your role to make sure that your customers always leave the store happy.

We are incredibly passionate about providing exceptional customer service, however not everything goes right all of the time, and as a result this role deals with resolving customer concerns. You will need to think outside of the square to resolve problems and be resilient at all times.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will be a strong team player, you will have a passion for working with people and will love interacting with customers. You will need to have good leadership skills and be able to coach and develop a team of people and collaborate with different personalities.

Effective communication skills are essential including strong listening skills to truly understand customer requirements and to be able to come up with solutions. This is a busy role and you will need to enjoy the structure of following processes and procedures.

You’ll have an eye for detail, you’ll love to multitask and you are the most organised person you know. You’ll have the ability to look at challenges with a fresh approach and provide solutions in a clear and concise way.

We operate seven days a week and you will need to have flexible availability across the week.

WHAT YOU WILL GET FROM US

Amart DNA - At the very core of our business, there's a strong pulse that we call 'Amart DNA'. It's what inspires us to jump out of bed in the morning and run to work. It drives us to push the limits and try new things. It captures what we will and won't stand for and is embedded in everything that we do.

Training and Development - We believe that in life you never stop learning. That’s why we offer programs to help progress your career, such as training for team members taking on a leadership role, our annual Women-in-Leadership program and more.

We believe in giving back – We believe in giving back to the community through our partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). From fun runs, to “Make A Meals” for families at a House, through to furniture donations, workplace giving, and customer donations, RMHC is a big part of our DNA.

Reward and Recognition – We acknowledge and reward the hard work of our people. We are proud to have a culture which celebrates success at every level.

Employee Discounts – We don’t just transform the homes of our customers; our team and their families enjoy industry leading discounts across our in-store range too.
