St Patrick’s Catholic School is located on the Northwest Coast of Tasmania in the municipality of Latrobe, 10 minutes from Devonport. St Patrick’s currently supports 200 students from Kinder to Year 6.

St Patrick’s Catholic School is seeking applications from suitably qualified, innovative, and passionate teachers who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic education for the following positions:

Teacher: Primary - 0.6 FTE

Limited Tenure: Parental Leave

(29 April 2024 – 18 December 2024)

Teacher: Specialist Drama - 0.2 FTE

Limited Tenure: Leave Replacement

(29 April 2024 – 18 December 2024)

The school is seeking applications from suitably qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teachers who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.

 To be eligible applicants required to:

  • Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.
  • Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching.
  • Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
  • Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.
  • Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.

The successful candidate will hold relevant graduate/post graduate qualifications and be registered to Teach in Tasmania or able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.
