Aerison is seeking a motivated and experienced Fabrication Estimator at our Bibra Lake Workshop. Reporting to the General Manager this role is essential in developing robust estimating procedures and identifying both risk and revenue opportunities. If you have a strong background in SMP/Fabrication estimation, we invite you to bring your expertise to our team.

THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY

  • Oversee and manage the estimation process, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive estimates.
  • Develop and implement estimation procedures and standards.
  • Analyse project requirements, develop cost estimates, and work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure project success.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities, participating in bids, and managing client engagement.
  • Maintain compliance with HSEQ standards and promote a culture of safety and integrity.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive proposals.
  • Schedule jobs in co-ordination with the General Manager to arrange resources, establish priorities and efficient workflows to ensure jobs are completed on time.
  • Support and provide workshop with information and oversight to ensure jobs are executed correctly and on time.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Someone with strong analytical skills with a background in estimation, costing, and financial controls within SMP, fabrication, welding, industries.
  • Strong understanding of contract and commercial management, including risk analysis, tender processes, and budget management.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships, communicate effectively, and provide high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Commitment to refining estimation practices and driving efficiencies in processes.
