Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT System Administrator/Engineer to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of our infrastructure. You will work closely with our small team to optimize the setup, oversee networks, workstations, servers, and hardware, and provide support to users globally. In addition, you will be responsible for managing internal software systems with various functionalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to ensure efficient management and improvement of the infrastructure.
  • Facilitate regular feedback and consulting sessions with other offices to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work with Linux and Windows environments, ensuring smooth operations across both platforms.
  • Maintain Active Directory, both on-premises and in Azure, ensuring user management and access control.
  • Execute system management tasks, including patching and maintaining Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Offer support in transitioning to cloud technology, particularly Azure, and demonstrate expertise in Intune, SSO, enterprise applications, and SSL.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and execute tasks accordingly, prioritizing the protection of our systems and data.
  • Improve and automate internal tools for system management and monitoring, streamlining processes for enhanced efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or equivalent certification in relevant technologies, or a strong background in the field.
  • Several years of experience as a System Administrator/Engineer, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and skills.
  • Proficiency in multiple domains, including:
    • Linux/Windows
    • DNS, DHCP
    • Network management
    • LDAP, AD, and access control
    • SSL and CA certificates
    • Azure IaaS and networking
    • Scripting skills - Bash, PowerShell, Windows Bat
    • Security
    • Firewall management
  • Interest in providing all-round IT support, encompassing hardware, Linux and Windows systems, networks, firewalls, and desktop support.
  • Strong focus on automation, monitoring, and configuration management to optimize system performance.
  • Excellent analytical skills, proactive mindset, and the ability to take initiative as a motivated team player.
  • Hands-on approach and enthusiasm for tackling challenging technical tasks.
  • Natural inclination towards creativity and innovation, actively seeking opportunities for improvement.
